United States Student Association
Board Member, Interim Governance Council
I serve as a Board Member of the Interim Governance Council for the United States Student Association (USSA), contributing to the organization’s governance, strategic direction, and structural transition during its interim period. In this role, I participate in decision-making related to organizational policy, governance reforms, and long-term sustainability, while representing student perspectives at the national level.
Member, USSA Government Relations Committee
I also serve as a member of USSA’s Government Relations Committee, where I support federal advocacy efforts by engaging in policy discussions, tracking legislative developments affecting students, and contributing to advocacy strategy, materials, and coalition work. Through these roles, I help advance a coordinated, student-informed approach to national higher education policy and student power-building.
University of California Student Association
Government Relations Vice Chair
I support and coordinate UCSA’s state and federal legislative advocacy in close partnership with the Government Relations Chair and Government Relations Director. I help advance UCSA’s legislative agenda, track policy and budget developments affecting UC students, and support major advocacy programs, including the Student Lobby Conference, UC Hill Day, and Identity-Based Student Advocacy Days.
In addition, I serve as the program manager for the UCSA Policy Fellowship Program, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training, deliverables, and ongoing support. I also oversee the Latine, SWANA, and AANHPI Student Advocacy Day Steering Committees and directly support and supervise their Chairs to ensure effective planning, coordination, and alignment with UCSA’s advocacy priorities. Across all responsibilities, I work to ensure UCSA’s advocacy is student-informed, equity-centered, and representative of UC’s diverse communities.
Member/Legislative Director, Board of Directors
As a Member of the Board of Directors I serves as a systemwide student representative responsible for the governance, strategic direction, and fiduciary oversight of the University of California Student Association (UCSA). In this role, I serves as a campus Legislative Director from the Associated Students of UC Riverside, Office of External Affairs, on all matters of Government Relations, Legislative Advocacy, and Lobby Efforts. Board Members are expected to attend regular and special Board meetings, retreats, and trainings; serve on committees or task forces as assigned; and contribute to strategic planning and organizational sustainability efforts. Through this work, I help ensure that UCSA remains accountable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of UC students.
Associated Students of UC Riverside
Legislative Director
I serve as the Legislative Director for the Associated Students of the University of California, Riverside (ASUCR) and Chair of the Legislative Advocacy Committee (LAC), leading the student government’s local, state, and federal advocacy efforts. In this role, I develop and advance ASUCR’s legislative priorities, oversee policy research and advocacy strategy, and coordinate student engagement in lobbying, public comment, and legislative outreach. I chair the Legislative Advocacy Committee, overseeing its structure, programming, and membership while mentoring interns and committee members through issue-based advocacy work. I work closely with campus partners, elected officials, legislative staff, and community organizations to elevate student priorities, organize advocacy initiatives such as lobby days and policy briefings, and ensure that ASUCR’s advocacy is student-informed, equity-centered, and aligned with the needs of UC Riverside undergraduates.
California College Democrats
Statewide Executive Director
I oversee and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to strengthen and expand California College Democrats’ internal and external engagement. I manage and maintain organizational communications platforms, including Instagram, Mailchimp, Discord, X (formerly Twitter), and other digital tools as needed, and ensure the timely announcement and promotion of all official meetings and events. I am responsible for recording, maintaining, and archiving minutes and records of all official CCD meetings and activities. I support the President and Executive Board by assisting in the drafting and release of statements, resolutions, and press materials, and by contributing to the planning, programming, and execution of CCD events. More broadly, I assist the Executive Board in the coordination and promotion of all organizational activities and carry out additional duties as assigned to support the effective functioning of the organization.
Co-President, College Democrats at UC Riverside
I serve as Co-President of College Democrats at UC Riverside, providing strategic leadership and direction for the organization while fostering an inclusive, engaged, and politically active student community. I oversee chapter operations in partnership with the executive board, including meeting facilitation, organizational planning, and coordination with campus partners and statewide and national College Democrats networks. I lead member recruitment and engagement efforts, support issue-based programming and advocacy initiatives, and represent the chapter in meetings with university administrators, elected officials, and allied organizations. I also help guide endorsements, campaigns, and voter engagement activities, ensuring that the chapter’s work reflects student priorities, democratic values, and a commitment to equity, political education, and collective action.
